Just to let you all in on my thoughts and hopes for next week.
IDC MOVE
On the 25th from ~ 6am - 6am on the 26th we will likely have a total WarpPortal and Ragnarok game black out as we move all the servers to a consolidated location and redo the networking and router rules.
We will wrap the regular maintenance into this period as well.
Costume Tab
Currently we are testing our "13.3 extended package", this includes the gravestone and Costume tab system. It has some issue with the character select and or the client currently which causes unplayability. Obviously it isn't ready to go in yet. But the dev team is working on that issue and we are hopeful that we can include the package into next week's live patch. This means you will be able to show off a particular look while still keeping your battle effectiveness!
Skill Balance Patch and 14.1
Dev team is working on our build for the 14.1 and Skill balance update. We are going to do a different procedure with HQ for the testing process. Next week (hopepfully early) we will get the all the testing files back (we already localized much of it) and we will put it on the Sakray server so everyone can test with us and let us know what their thoughts are on any bugs and what not. The skill balance is a big change and likely will overshadow any interest in the 14.1 update (please test that too : ) ) I just want to make it very clear that the skill balance patch we are putting in is no where near the end of the balancing road. It will be as up to date with kRO settings as can be, but the Dev team has recognized how big the project is and is already planning to devoting the next few quarters to continued balancing to make this an all around great renewal, so RO can continue for many years to come. So if something aggitates you about a skill or something please, politely, inform us and we will commence the data gathering and proposal making. It won't be instant gratification but it will be used to make things better in the long run. Goal is to have both Skill balance and 14.1 launched prior to Thanksgiving holiday!
